Following advice to the breed clubs from the Kennel Club, our Committee has agreed some changes to the numbers of dogs and classes required to be judged to qualify for the A and B Judges Lists.
The new critria is set out on the Judging section of the website.
Anyone wishing to apply for the upgrade subsequently to the amendments must submit a completed fresh application. The necessary form is also available on this website and this is the only format which will be considered.
Since 2013, our Championship Show judges have been chosen by a ballot of the Members. Members will be asked to vote for the judge at the end of each year so remember that you have to be a paid-up Member to have your say.
We have added a brand new 'Cut Down' class for our shows. We all know that this breed takes a lot of grooming and that many dogs after a couple of years are taken out of the show ring and most of them have thier coats cut off or down, so now we have a class especially for those dogs who still really love to show. We hope you support this class well, together with the one for dogs who take part in Working / Agility activities.
